Digital skills for personal motivation and better career orientation!
Simbioza Genesis Social Enterprise is again the national partner for the European Get Online Week in 2017 and will organize the third edition of GOW in Slovenia.
In 2017, Simbioza Genesis will co-organise the GOW campaign with primary and secondary schools across Slovenia and will partner with Ministry of Public Administration, Career Centres, AmCham, MSS, Triglav, Microsoft.
The focus of the Get Online Week in Slovenia will be digital jobs and digital profiles. Simbioza Genesis will offer training on gaining most necessary digital skills for young people who are entering the labour market and promote digital jobs among the target audience (young, unemployed, students). E-Workshops will involve pupils, students as well as unemployed youth. The activities will provide the possibility of gaining skills and competences in the area of e-literacy and with that enable participants with easier access to the labour market. The workshops will be divided in several different topics and will cover various computer competences. The training will involve at least 70 participants.
On the topic of Cybersecurity, Simbioza Genesis plans to present public services online that are used in Slovenia and the protocols of safety within this system. On the topic of Employment and Entrepreneurship they will provide workshops on digital academy that include most wanted e-skills on the market and additional skills: project management, soft skills, social entrepreneurship. In addition, on e-Services, Simbioza will promote the tools of e-Portal for citizens in order to understand digital specialization even better..
With the help of partners, social and traditional media channels, they plan to reach at least 2,000 people.
